HADC Incorporated

is a commercial architecture design firm. For over 15 years, HADC has served clientele representing widely diverse industries in domestic and international markets. HADC’s multi-disciplined, talented group achieves innovative results within rapid timelines.

Principal / President Robert Hooper graduated Texas A&M in 1988 with a Bachelors of Environmental Design and went to work in Houston Texas for a firm with a retail and national credit tenant specialization.  In the following years, Robert was a half owner of a commercial construction firm that specialized in gas station and other commercial facility types.  Robert also spent two years with LAW Engineering a global facilities engineering company, in the department of Property Condition Analysis where properties ranging from 300 unit apartment complexes to 50 story high rise office buildings were evaluated for life-cycle placements used in re-financing.  HADC was started as a Texas corporation in 1994.

HADC’s multi-disciplined, talented group achieves innovative results within rapid timelines. From the first idea to the last detail, we balance technical information with strong orientation toward the end-user/consumer. HADC disciplines blend all technical and human requirements. This combination is maintained with a proper balance of design, engineering, cost-consciousness, client knowledge, and the wherewithal to use the aforementioned disciplines in concert. Our prime goal is total satisfaction for the clients we serve. We consider our clients true partners. We are adept at managing the often conflicting and complex regulatory issues, land planning and environmental concerns, aesthetics and budget. Design issues must be balanced with pragmatic concerns. We believe that the best architecture is a result of true collaboration between client and architect, and that this collaboration is key to a successful project.

HADC, Inc. employs a “networked-team” approach to project delivery. This philosophy is taken from observing successful development delivery where staff consists of three to five key people and retained flexibility to hire quality talent related to the specific project. At HADC the crucial initial meetings with the Owner and concept design phase schemes are done by the architect of record. Once the Owner is satisfied that the direction the project is headed will result in the desired aesthetic and budgetary outcome, HADC will staff the project with personnel that can produce the required communication tools which do not consist of just a roll of drawings anymore. Through our website collaboration tools, HADC can staff a project on short notice with groups of production and design personnel in diverse locations across the US (not outsourced). Clients also have access to the latest drawings and pictures through our controlled access FTP working directories. In many cases, HADC has become involved in physical delivery of the project by way of various means of Design/Build, Construction Advisor, Construction Field Management, and Construction Project Management and “buy-out” services. We understand that it is not how much money that is thrown at a project that creates a winning project, but the design and material use combined with a well communicated set of requirements.
